This is a community for people who are in the process of applying for the K-3 visa via the I-130 form. This is a place where we can all get together and share our experiences, talk about the steps we have taken and ask as well as answer any questions someone may have.
The wait is hard on all of us so this is a place where we can all come together!

I am
kisschick1976 and my now ex-husband is roofcrash. We divorced in the middle of the K3 process just before AOS. Here is our Timeline:
- Mar 17 2004 - I arrived in Romania;
- Mar 27 2004 - married
- Apr 09 2004 - petition I-130 sent to TSC
- Apr 12 2004 - NOA1 recived from TSC
- May 03 2004 - I-129F sent to Chicago Center
- May 22 2004 - Recieve Rejection letter from Chicago, Rates have been raised. 3 weeks down the drain.
- May 25 2004 - Petition I-129F mailed back to Chicago, Vaya con Dios!
- June 09, 2004 - NOA1 recieved from MSC on June 14, 60-180 days
- October 20 - I130 Transferred from TSC to CSC
- October 21 - CSC I130 NOA1 date
- December 8 - I130 RFE online and E*Mail user posted image
- December 13 - Recieve NOA2 dated December 8 APPROVAL
- December 13 Recieve I130 RFE... marriage certificate and my birth certificate.
- December 14 - Mailed back RFE overnight via USPS.
- December 16 - CSC recieves RFE packet.
- December 17 - NVC recieves K3
- December 21 - NVC approves and forwards case to Bucharest
- January 10 - Anton recieves package 3 from the Embassy
- January 13 - 130 APPROVED via e*mail
- January 13 - Anton sends back P3
- January 31 - 9:30 am Romanian time MEDICAL
- Februrary 1 - 1pm Romanan time, K3 INTERVIEW
- APPROVED
- Februrary 10 - 2PM Anton arrives in Houston
- Februrary 16 - Anton gets his Driver's Licence with only his passport, visa and I-94
- Februrary 25 - Sent EAD
- March 11 - Receive back EAD, sent wrong amount on money order.
- March 11 - sent back EAD with correct amount.
- March 16 - NOA1 for EAD
- March 25 - Biometrics for EAD in San Antonio
- May 25 - EAD Approved
- June 4 - Receive EAD in mail.
- June 6 - Apply for SSN
- June 14 - Receive SSN
Seperated soon after and divorce filed in 2006 but I still stick around and help out with K3's especially ones from Romania.
