Yes, it has been a while and I just realized that I really haven’t been sharing my art in this blog despite it being an art blog as well aside from writing lmao (well, maybe except for the IkeRev Alice and Jonah drawing that I’ve deleted after restarting this blog) 😂
Well anyway, here’s my fanart of Sun and Moon from Chasing Sunsets by Kaye Allen @exoticarmy127 💜 Honestly, after reading the story, the image of Sun and Moon in a card concept just popped into my head and I had to immediately draw it even though it took me a bit of time coloring, designing their clothes, and the background (yes, I can finally draw backgrounds now weee).
Also, that’s how you’ll know that I loved the story. When I know it’s a great story, I draw them. So if you’re from the Philippines, you should and MUST BUY CHASING SUNSETS. GO AND MOVE YOUR BUTT, PURCHASE THAT BOOK AND HAVE A GOOD READ!

Good question! I always give theme songs for my fanfics before, and it’s only right that I give my books one too, right? Haha! Whenever I write a book, I usually have a playlist for that particular story…so yes, there are songs. Since my books are anthologies, I have several tracks that can describe it.
For Falling Falling, I listened to a lot of sad/break-up songs. So You and Baekhyun’s RAIN became an inspiration for not just the stories in the book but its cover design as well.

Also, Yiruma’s “Kiss the Rain” was the inspiration for Black Keys while BTS’ “Spring Day” inspired Paralian.
For Chasing Sunsets, I listened to a lot of fantasy instrumentals on YouTube to get in the zone while writing it. But one song I could give that captures the story would be Taylor Swift’s version of “Untouchable.” I think this song described Sun and Moon’s impossible relationship in a figurative and literal way since the song uses metaphors like ‘name written in the stars’, ‘diamond skies’ and the ‘burning sun’ to describe feelings which I thought was very fitting for Chasing Sunsets.
