NOTE: This character is no longer a Trek character. She was my own creation and therefore I have decided to play her out of the Trek fandom.

Katherine Watley was born in Oxford, England on May 2nd to Amanda and Jonathan Watley. The family grew when sisters Emma and Sarah were born.

When Katie was nine, her mother was offered a job at Stanford University as the head of the biology department. The family packed their things and moved to the States and to San Francisco, California. It was a huge adjustment for Katie to live in a different country and it took her a while to get used to things.

When she was eleven, she picked up surfing, which helped her make friends and come out of her shell. When she wasn't on the water, she was studying hard with the dream of becoming a biologist like her mother.

At the young age of sixteen, Katie was accepted by Stanford, where she studied until she was eighteen. She then transferred to the University of Southern California.

After getting her degrees, Katie left California and moved to the midwest to teach high school. Her job was short-lived when she was in a car accident. It took her several months to recover and once she had, she moved to the Pacific Northwest, where she still lives and works.
