My tastes are eclectic, as are my beliefs and politics. I consider myself a Texan, despite not having lived there for several years. I'm a liberal Republican, leaning toward the middle on most issues. I vote for the candidate, not along party lines. If I'm undecided, I go with the Republican. I support the NRA, our troops, the Wounded Warrior programs, the death penalty and our right to bear arms. I'm pro-choice, in favor of gay marraige, and of the people's right to live, love, and worship however they choose -- as long as they don't endanger or violate the rights of others in the process. If your religion calls on you to smoke ganja, use peyote, sacrifice chickens, shave your head, practice polyamory, do without electricity, or wear a burka, and you *want* to do so, far be it from me to stop you. On the other hand, if you try to force your beliefs on someone else, I'll be on you like a ton of bricks.
