Baseball and Minicon
Baseball season will have started this year by the time Minicon rolls around.
The Twins are on the road the week prior to Minicon which means non-game day tours of Target Field are available the Wednesday and Thursday (and other days) prior to Minicon. Details on Target Field Tours. It's really a nifty ballpark and a cool place to tour if you're at all into baseball or have an interest in very green buildings and/or clever architecture.
The Twins play the Chicago White Sox at Target Field in Minneapolis the weekend of Minicon (7:10pm on Friday, 1:10pm on Saturday, 3:10pm on Sunday) and Cleveland the Monday through Thursday following Minicon (7:10pm games M-W, day game that Thursday). [Twins Schedule]
I note this in case anyone coming in from out of town wants to take in a game or stay a little longer to take in a game. As always when it comes to Twins games at Target Field we often have tickets available (really good tickets, in fact) or can easily help someone find or select good tickets.
We'll be skipping games Minicon weekend even though there's a nifty giveaway on Saturday, but may very well have tickets for the series immediately after Minicon. I probably could be persuaded to go to the Sunday afternoon game if folks I know from out of town were going and wanted me to join them.
