Hello, everyone! I’m usually genuinely clumsy with creating a reasonable self-description, but here we have some basic bullet points about me personally: My name is Lauma (while my name has no direct meaning, it’s often associated with the forest creatures in the latvian mythology) and I was born and raised in the southern end of the Latvian republic and currently live in Riga with a latvian, russian, polish and jewish ancestry. Though I’ve never felt like I belonged here and my dream since I was a young child has always been to leave here as soon as it’s possible. In the social realm I’m often looked at as an earnest, diplomatic and self-assertive individual, however, if I need to describe myself, I might say that I’m open-minded, unstable and unconventional , aloof and I have a very expressive handwritting... oh, and I love women! My ultimate career goal is to be a university professor. My favorite music genres include rock, metal, ambient, new age, classical, jrock, krock, kpop, cpop, indie, electronica, the 80s, the 90s, the 70s, post-rock ... Some of my favorite musicians/ bands are The Police, Guns n Roses, David Bowie, FT Island, X Japan, Pet Shop Boys, Modern Talking, The Cure, The Beatles, Nightwish, Rammstein, Enya, Gorillaz, Roxette, Alphaville, 梅艷芳... My favorite movies are Life of Pi; Au Revoir, Les Enfants; Slumdog Millionaire; The Hobbit; The Boat that Rocked; The Pianist; Good Bye, Lenin!; La Vita E Bella; The Theory of Everything; The Lake House; Battle Royale; Jackal is Coming; Black Swan; Let the Right One In. My favorite TV shows are True Blood, Keeping Up Appearances, You’re Beautiful, Boys Over Flowers, Secret Garden, The Rooftop Prince, The Biggest Loser ... My greatest passions in life are traveling, self-cultivation, spiritual growth, reading, dancing, public speaking, hiking, biking, running, studying languages, volunteering, human rights activism ... I like visiting the theatre, opera, different historical landmarks and music festivals, spending my time in nature, dancing in public places, trying new dishes, snuggling kittens and reading about the chinese history ...
I am looking for open-minded and romantic introverts who like to engage themselves in a deep conversations. I would like to commune both via e-mail and letter, whatever works best for you! > My e-mail: lauma97@gmail.com
