It is London, the year 1890. A young man sits in the frigid rain, clutching a sketchbook and pen, trying to make his way to the Underground in a way that will not ruin his precious drawings, his only means of support in a cruel cold city where the greater population is only out for themselves and there isn't a lot of sympathy for those without a bundle of crisp bank notes in their wallets . . . but Elijah Wood is not alone. There are others in this city whom the Fates have drawn together. After all, a new century is just around the corner. New opportunities, new possibilities, a gathering of hopefuls from all around the world, coming to London for a new life.
London *is* the center of the world . . . and some people were simply destined to meet there.

This is an AU RPS (real person slash) RPG (role playing game) which is set in London in the 1890's. It is a hard, realistic world, with the cast of Lord of the Rings taking new roles in what perhaps was a past life and learning how fate can indeed draw people together.

Slash pairings are allowed and encouraged; NC-17 posts are fine (encouraged!) with an lj-cut and a warning, and players are expected to post at least once a week and to try to chat with other players whenever possible. Players who do not post on a regular basis will be kindly asked to find another hobby. :D
