hi--
i am writing because my partner is intensely interested in exploring the erotics of cutting, and this is something that i am willing to do. i have never done anything of this nature before, however, and would appreciate some advice.
of course, communicating with one's partner about their desires is the starting place.
being sane, sober, and safe is taken for granted.
what i'm looking for right now concrete detailed advice about preferred implements, safety tips, etc.
are there any good books/pamphlets/websites that provide specific guidelines?
i tried searching the archive in case this is a really basic question, but didn't see any entries.

I noticed the last post was Nov 1st... Is this place still active?
For a "Hullo and How Do" Post: I'm 24, I've been into various types of blood play since I was twelve, from the obligatory slashing your own ass up to martial arts, bar fights and Seriously Rough Sex. Probably four to five years ago I realized there was a distinctly sexual overtone to my escapades, and having by this time started in on Professional Piercing I did some research and HAZAA! Sexual Cutting does exist! I've only ever been able to take a blade to one willling partner so I'm not too expierenced in the mutual area. I'm also a bit of an unintentional Luddite so I have no scanner nor do I have a digital camera. When these problems are rectified I shall regale all with post after post of lacerated skin and fine crimson love. (and yes that was intentionaly cheese)
