Margaret Weigers Vitullo, Executive Director (she/her)

Before becoming executive director of the Linguistic Society of America, Margaret was the deputy director of the American Sociological Association, served as the chair of the sociology department at Gallaudet University, and worked as a research scientist in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. She served as a consultant to the AAAS Science and Human Rights Program in Haiti, Guatemala, and South Africa, providing technical assistance on the application of social science research methods to human rights data collection and analysis. She received her Ph.D. and M.A. in sociology from the University of Michigan and a B.A. in sociology and managerial studies from Rice University. She also holds a CAE designation from the American Society of Association Executives. In her free time she enjoys hiking, reading, visiting museums, and long conversations over good food with friends.
Molly Marsh, Account Executive

Molly has over 19 years' experience in Association Management and nonprofit leadership, working with organizations across industries including healthcare, education, the arts, government, and research. She graduated with a B.A. in Drama and Religion from Transylvania University; professionally, she has earned the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation and is a Facit8Me certified association facilitator. Both in and outside of work she is passionate about the power of community and works diligently to bring people together for meaningful work. She also enjoys cooking, baking, reading, meditating, and enjoying the outdoors with her family.

Kelsey Kirsch, Program Coordinator

Kelsey Kirsch brings over a decade of administrative experience across diverse industries, including recreation, healthcare, and education. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Dayton and is known for her strong organizational skills and commitment to supporting team success. Outside the office, Kelsey enjoys volunteering at her local animal shelter, spending time on craft projects, and quality time with her family.

Catherine Pauley, Member Services Coordinator

Catherine Pauley is a dedicated professional with almost ten years of teaching experience and three years in the non-profit sector. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Western Kentucky University and a Master of Arts in Education from Jacksonville State University. With a strong foundation in education and a passion for service, Catherine brings both heart and expertise to her work. Outside of her professional life, Catherine enjoys reading, spending time with her family, listening to music, and exploring new places through travel.

Lindsay Plath, CMP has over a decade of experience in the meeting industry, focusing on the non-profit and association sectors. She is dedicated to creating welcoming, sustainable, and engaging experiences that leave lasting impressions. Lindsay earned her bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Chicago and holds the Certified Meetings Professional (CMP) certification. Her commitment to the industry is reflected in her active involvement with Meeting Professionals International (MPI) where she currently serves as the Vice President of Education on the MPI New Jersey Chapter Board of Directors. In her free time, she enjoys curling up with a good book, crafting, or baking new cookie recipes.
