Ninjaing back from hiatus...
...for a quick post. People not into SHINee and/or who have not got the track 'Lucifer' stuck in their head at some point in time will probably not be interested.
I have ranted at many people about the inability to sing along with Korean songs because of the weird way Korean is romanized. This causes poor non-Korean-speaking fangirls a great deal of frustration, especially when you really want to sing along to the k-pop song that's been stuck in your head for days, but the lyrics page turns up words that seem to have absolutely nothing in common with what is being sung, and instead looks like "laksjdf vlkjsdsa iutlsdj" so you end up making nonsense words to go with the incomprehensible sounds instead. Not terribly satisfying, but needs must. :(
I was talking to one of my friends today, introducing SHINee to her and predictably, she was like "WHAT ARE THEY SAYING, NO, REALLY" so I was like "DON'T LOOK AT THE LYRICS, IT JUST SOUNDS LIKE THIS" and ended up typing it out, kind of re-romanizing(???) it in the chatbox. And then I was like, fuck it, and I, uh, edited the entirety of the original Lucifer lyrics (yes, including the rap part askdjfalj) and rewrote it to make it easier to, er, sing along. ... ... ...I know. I know. It's pathetic laksdjfa BUT IT WAS JUST BORN OUT OF HELPLESS FRUSTRATION lskjfa the document is here.
