heyy im emilija (silent j), 15, 5 hrs away from nyc! haha. my career is just starting to really take off this summer.. omg remember my name im gonna be famous ;-) :-*!!!! i'm 5'11'', 34-25-35. i wanna do really high fashion stuff... both runway and editorial. i really just want to build an amazing portfolio, travel the world, experience and see amazing things. i've gotten contract offers from uptown model management, VISION, WOMEN!!!, and riccardo gay in milano. i went to this convention thing, IMTA, in nyc last summer and thats where i got in touch from all these agencies. i'm going again this year... and i'm so much more ready! im in such better shape and i just have so much more knowledge about the industry. also i'm a lot more motivated now. i had just started going to a new school last fall, a very prestigious private prep school that i got an acedemic scholarship to, so that's why my parents made me turn down the contracts >:0>:o>:o i could've shot them. but now i'm ready... and almost 16 so i'll soon be able to work in europe. i love photography too... behind the camera. i've never taken pictures of models but i bet it'd be sooo fun with a good model. i really wish i knew how to post pics... i have all my latest ones loaded onto my computer. if someone tells me how i'll post some!! (i'd have to make them smaller and everything too... someone helllp!!!)

Yes I realize that this is a modeling community. I'm trying to attract the photographers. And who says models can't be literate?! Not me! hi my name is Arpeeta Oberai. I am going to be a senior in high school now. I plan to goto Design school in SF, California. I want to major in fashion merchandising and minor in design. I plan to do some modeling. I do have a portfolio made with professional photographs and plan to do stuff with it in the near future. I am also in a pageant right now called "Miss India California," it is going to be held in LA. I hope all my plans go well.

hey everybody! i just joined here and thought i would say hello. my name is leah (pronounced laya), and i am 16 years old. i havent done much modeling yet but i do have a whole bunch of photoshoots and i will put some of those pics up when i get them. well here is the stuff you wanted to know:

A very large part of me refuses to let this community die!!!
I just really like to have my picture taken and most of the time the pictures come out very nice.
Well I sell make up as an adolecent job and will be a junior for 2004-05...Wish me luck.
I originally wanted to be a designer for a while and i'm working on a formal dress to wear to a party. Now I want to be a make-up artist for high fashion models.
Contemporary to futuristic. The latter is my specialty.
Modelling is pretty close to my mind right now so here is my description.
ht: 5 2(not quite the model height I realize)
wt: 120
Skin: Light brown
eyes: Dark brown.
hair: Very long, reaching my butt and black. Straight
agency: none but I suppose one would be very nice
state and city: Rochester NY
I would do most kinds of modelling but would like to stay away from conventional clothing...I despise it so!
i would do nude but it has to be artistic...Not playboy.
I'll post up a picture of myself as Soon as I can. I just have to scan some in.

I love taking photos. And now that I got my new digi cam, I'm starting to get way too addicted. Ahhhh I took a bunch this past week, these are my fav.. ((Taken a few days ago))..with a touch of photoshop I think they came out great. It actually looks professional. I was indeed excited. I thought it would be pretty cool to share. What do you guys think?

My name is Jason and I just joined Live Journal and this group. I've worked in the fashion industry as well as the entertainment industry, most notably for one of the talent agencies in Beverly Hills [CAA, William Morris, UTA, ICM, or Endeavor. I worked at one of those agencies]. I currently quit everything and focusing on screenwriting and filmmaking for a two year period of time. I am also a photographer, mostly proficient in b&w portraitures. If anyone needs some information or advice feel free to add me, email, or just post a question here and I'll try to answer for you. Be forewarn, if you're unable to take the advice or criticism please don't ask. I'm simply gonna tell you what to expect from my experience, I can be wrong. But please understand what I say is just to help you prepare for what you will face and hopefully overcome.
