Welcome to MOTHER World Hi there! Do you have a muse from one of the MOTHER/EarthBound games that you want to try out? Are you willing to find castmates to try your MOTHER/EarthBound character out with? Are you willing to go into the trash can of LiveJournal and sample the taste of the sweet burger that is a Dressing Room? On second thought, don't answer that. In any case, look no further! This is a open Dressing Room community for anyone willing to play someone within or around the series known as MOTHER to many of the Japanese folks out there and EarthBound to those in the United States. Feel free to try out any character, be it from the original game, an Alternate Universe character, or even a cracky version. Just be sure to follow our set rules. Our Set Rules: 1. Essentially the golden rule of roleplaying, do NOT bring your OOC wank into the game and incorporate it ICly. We're trying to be as friendly as possible and doing this does nothing but hurt the game itself, so don't do it. Ever. On that note, if you see a problem with a character as far as their in-character personality or their powers or something, try talking to the player first. If the problem persists or the player is unavailable, then you can try us. It seems like a really mean thing to say, but really you should be bringing it up to them first and not telling us to yell at them for reasons that may be unknown to us. 2. On that note and yes this is extremely obvious, NO GODMODDING. We understand there are characters this may work for (ie; Giygas, Porky, the Ultimate Chimera), but try not to do it. 3. AUs are a-ok. OCs on the other hand, are not allowed. Let me explain this a little bit further, you CAN have a girl version of Ness or a (for some reason) completely masculine version of Lucas. However, you CANNOT bring in Ness's long lost brother or a new rival for Lucas that also knows PK LOVE and ISN'T the Masked Man. We reserve the right to reject a character brought in that seems OC-ish. Also, we do accept variations of characters that are in different games/series'. For example, you CAN have a Super Smash Bros.verse Ness/Jeff/Lucas/Porky. Basically, feel free to alter the characters in a way that keeps them AU without turning them completely OC. 4. And of course, have fun! Because not having fun is for losers. So just feel free to join and post! Comments? Concerns? Ok desu ka?
