I just thought I'd do a little plugging of an awesome band. 30 Seconds to Mars has an awesome single out called "Attack." It's a great song. You can hear it at www.thirtysecondstomars.com and read about their upcoming album. It comes out next month. Everybody should go check that out. It's really awesome.

Great news - though I may be late!
When I went to Warped Tour a few weeks ago, I went over to the Dropkick Murphy's tent and they were telling me about the new GIVE 'EM THE BOOT DVD from Hellcat that is going to be released next week. I've been waiting for something on the Hellcat bands and it's finally here. Its supposed to have lots of live performances by bands like Rancid, Transplants, Horrorpops, Tiger Army, and a lot more. Joe Strummer and Iggy Pop are on it too...plus all the Hellcat bands. By far this will be one of the best music DVD release all year!

it's called saccharine smile by Donots it's a pretty intresting song. im looking to buy there cd or dl it from limewire so i can give a review on it. but so far that single = very good.

K. So I've been listening to -this- for the past week. It's nice. review starts down there
Mindless Self Indulgence-You'll Rebel to Anything.
Check out some of the samples here.
Anyway, Msi is a weird punky kind of industrial techno thrashy band. Just listen to them. They have oddly syncopated music, that sounds like they rolled maybe 7 songs into a 2:30 time period. You won't get it till you listen to it..

Now, comes my only problem with them. They have really trashy lyrics. Really trashy. Which, isn't so much bad as it is me, just wanting eloquent lyrics. There's something to be said about a band who's lyrics follow like this (By the way, the singers voice has awesome range/character)

Weird, right? You listen to it, and you either tone out the lyrics for the beautiful everything else, or you just take it all as it comes..
Because they do have some weird charm to them.. Weird. Anyway. I think I broke all of Dez's review rules. Oh well.
