Now let me preface, the title is a bit reductionist, we shouldn't feel obligated to label what something is or isn't. Rather, the media below at the very least has an idea in it that is tangential to gender politics, whether simply representation or potentially more triggering such as gender violence. I will put a trigger warning for the titles that need it. Disclaimer, i also go into themes sometimes, which you find as spoilers.
As an aside, just because something is problematic, doesn't mean you can't experience it or even enjoy it. The key is to do your homework (I've got lots to do) so you can see those problems and therefore not internalize them but rather engage with them critically.
Either way, all of these works have something in them that might add to your understanding of the subject (or not lol). And some are simply here for their baller mc.

1973 watercolors and jazz, it's about sexual liberation. Yet, it will get under your skin too with its sexual violence.
There's potentially the issue that it's still too normative given its themes because it can be argued that symbolically power is still derived from the masculine.

The feminist themes presented don't end at Nausicaa herself but the true genius of Miyazaki is in the insects themselves. If you're not familiar with "the other" in philosophy, look it up as well as the concept of "othering" and Simone de Beauvoir's thoughts on the subject.

There are a lot of ideas in this story. While normative in some respects, the use of pastoral, historical realism to tell a tale of feminism and personal choice, can be poignant for the right audience.
Probably one of the strongest critiques of patriarchy in anime.

The Third in someways reminds me of Nausicaa, Honoka is amazingly strong and emotionally receptive, and the whole journey feels gentle, it's hard to describe but there's a certain grace to this show that makes me feel like more people should check it out and it indeed centers women as being capable (even if there is fanservice character, but it almost feels like the staff was required to add that character, like for ratings or something, so they purposely gave that character additional flaws that i think feel meta-textually aware. In short, they know it's a fanservice character and they don't want you to take them that seriously).

Miyazaki gives women here the upmost respect. They are strong, independent, driven, respected, feared. Additionally, one of the main plights of the story is due to an emperor (whose not even in the film).

I really don't know about the magical girl genre but from what I've heard about it, Princess Tutu actually embodies genre ideals.
Additionally we can view the story as a rebellion of socially constructed roles, which is an important idea historically for sex equality. While I'm kind of overfitting the themes, they are the very least tangental.

Parts of this show are problematic (spoiler: like a weird inc*st scene i don't understand), but other parts seem maybe genuinely uplifting? So I'm just gonna leave it here. hmu if you think otherwise. At the very least it feels like it's taken power out of ecchi which is paradoxical because that's in part what the anime is about (send help, i'm confused).

there's some seriously grotesque gender violence here. I think it's not entirely the point of the anime, but at a certain point i think Parasite Dolls shakes us to ask when is it simply violence against women and not dolls (the show calls robots boomers though idk why). When do we realize we treat real humans this way irl?
Additionally, i think you can see Michaelson as the secret main character of this ova (yes, ik mal says she an mc already) and she's cool.
Is it worth the cool mc and trauma presented though, i'm not entirely sure which is why it's last.
