Hello all!

I have been happily playing with photoshop and pictures and went a little icon happy... the results are behind the cut.

It's mostly Buddha, Avaloketeshvera, and Kwan-Yin, though I do have a few others as well.

I couldn't sleep much this night, because it was so hot and restless. I went to bed around half past midnight, and woke precisely on three o'clock, just to realize I really can't sleep at the moment any more. So, I got up, made coffee and started to make the bases I were collecting material for.

Hmm. Yeah, anyway. Comment if you take any = appreciated and half-demanded, credit = appreciated but not compulsory. No hotlinking.

Whee. We have a number of new members. Niice. I haven't posted in a while, but I'll try to post more often now that it's summer and I have lots of time to do things like icons. This time, I'm posting a number of bases I made a while ago - mostly angels, but a few runes as well. Comment and credit, if you take any.

In addition to icons, I have a small request to the members of this community. I'd like to know if anyone has a specific theme they'd like to see as icons or bases. Any specifics, in terms of mythology? Greek? Asian? Mythical beings? Something else? I'm open to all kinds of suggestions, and it would be nice to hear if anyone has a specific thing they're looking for. What would you like to see?

As far as I recall these are watercolours or oilpaintings. Artist very much unknown. The site that I found these had nothing to do with my search and gave no information about these paintings what-so-ever. If anyone knows, I might like to know. These are a bit odd, but I liked some of them anyway, and wanted to try out few icons. I modified them slightly.
