Bridging science, business, and storytelling for a thriving planet.

Welcome

The science is clear: We have the knowledge and tools to tackle the nature and climate crisis – what we need now is momentum. The next decade holds extraordinary potential for regeneration, innovation, and systems change.

The Nature & Climate Impact Team at the University of Exeter Business School, led by Professor Gail Whiteman, exists to accelerate that change. With philanthropic support from André and Rosalie Hoffmann, we’re developing and testing interventions designed to bring nature and climate considerations into decision-facing environments.

FLAGSHIP ACTIVITY

Davos 2026

During the World Economic Forum 2026, NCIT developed a major convening role on climate and nature risks and solutions by supporting Climate Basecamp, Atelier van Lieshout’s (AVL), GreenUp and Cats Do Climate at “MonkeyRock: A Species Corner for Nature.” NCIT organised the speakers program, convening 85 speakers across 60 events.

When I see a monument like this, a work of art in Davos, on the street, on the promenade to tell us something, I rejoice because I can see that nature is going to be allowed to be part of this conversation.

We are very excited to announce the Nature and Climate Impact Team for accelerating action on nature and climate, made possible thanks to the generosity and foresight of André and Rosalie Hoffmann.
