This is a Star Trek (24th Century) role-playing/fanfic Livejournal community. We all play various characters on our Akira-class vessel, the U.S.S. Varich-A! If you're interested in joining, send me an e-mail.
Originally we played on the Enterprise-E, but the recent relaunch of the game necessitated a switch to a non-canon vessel. But please, don't be shy, we welcome all players.

Just to keep things running smoothly, Starfleet Command asks that you keep in mind the following community directives:
1: Post in character: For example, since I've chosen Shay'taal as my character, I can't post from Marena or Merinn's point of view, etc. You can however, interact with any of the other characters in your post.
2: Posting limits: You can post as much as you'd like, but don't post entries consecutively. Let at least one or two other players post before you post again.
3: Length: Yes, some posts might need to be long, but keep them at a somewhat reasonable length; the point is give everyone a chance to post and lend their voice to the narrative.
4: Story Continuity: the story has to at least make some sense. you can't suddenly -for example- gain god like powers for no reason. Also, respect other players' posts. If say, they write about your character and theirs having a fight, or that the ship was being attacked by the Borg ... or what not, you can't pretend it never happened.
5: The Comments Section of a Post: should be used for your own opinions, praise, questions, or even for a running dialogue between the community members to discuss a given post or situation. This is not done in character.
