Utterly amazing, kept me up way later than I intended. I know barely anything about Doctor Who canon beyond being able to fit names to a handful of faces, but the characterisation in this was detailed and wonderful, totally swept me up in the story and the emotion. I especially loved the sheer need the Doctor has for the Master. Well, actually I love the Master POV as well, so basically I love all of it!

AU where Obi-Wan goes undercover in the Sith to expose Sideous. I'm not all up on Star Wars canon, so there was some wiki/google flailing to place names. But most of it was pretty straightforward. Obi-Wan's cahracterisation was brilliant, all cold and clever and opaque. Lots of nice complex plottings, sexy sex scenes and the really good kind ofhurt/comfort. Nice and long

Very good Logan character study wrapped up in a plotty, crazy crossover (he is so broken, my God). Author calls it crack, but the story isn't written in a comic or flippant way. I've only a passing knowledge of Lovecraft and I still got most of the references, and hey, that's what wiki is for. The first chapter throws you into a dream sequence, which I found a bit disorienting (as it's meant to be). But the plot itself is perfectly well structured. I liked the OCs a lot.

Epic long. Really long, totally ate my weekend. I have no familiarity with canon beyond Charlie being that guy from 10 things and solving crimes in some maths related way, but that was no obstacle. The entire fic is well paced, and maintains tension through the emotional plot as well as the action. It just ratchets right up there. Definitely un-put-downable. Really good twisty look at the incest, no brushing away of the issues. Pretty dark in places, when dealing with the trauma, torture and abuse etc. Fair amount of violence.

Clever, great Robin voice -- awkward commitment-phobe and how she falls into a relationship anyway. Really really hot sex. Nice sprinkles of humour and banter.

Good old fashioned evil Spike. pitiful, needy Xander. Not quite Stockholm syndrome, but not far off. Lots of dub-con manipulation. I'm not so into the practical BDSM stuff, (spanking and kneeling and bindings etc.) so there was a bit more pain than I'd like mixed in with the pleasure. Nice slow build - wallowing in Xander's feelings, his shame, his need. Lots of sex/sexual play. Wasn't so interested once the focus shifted to the rest of the cast, ended up skipping from about 3/4 of the way into the second part. But the fic is loooong.

Nice use of the 3rd person Omniscient. Definitely fits the tone of the story, disjointed and sprawling, but also about community. Post apocalyptic setting shows how the Losers deal with the repercussions. I like the Aisha character study that's tied into it as well.

Also part three has the absolute best Stiles/Chris conversation EVER. I adore it, it's total payback for all the creepy car breaking Chris does in the show.

Stiles nods, confused and wary and generally accepting. "What are you guys, hunters?" Stiles can't help but ask, and the expression on their face is priceless. Stiles is going to get himself shot one day, probably by these people.

Stiles takes Derek's mark for protection, things progress from there. More serious than most Derek/Stiles usually is. The bond doesn't magically make everything all right. They haven't secretly been lusting after each other for ever. It's a bit of a reversal fic, the bond comes first and the relationship second, it's slow and painful and epic. It all feels very well world-built. Very solid despite branching off into AU territory. I like the darker tone, everyone a bit more ambiguous and complex. The Stiles pov is perfect, tense but still with the edge of Stiles-craziness.
