I just wanted to let you know that I created a new community about every member of the Coppola Tree. You know, not just Francis Ford Coppola, Roman Coppola, Sofia Coppola, also Jason Schwartzman, Robert Carmine, Nicolas Cage, etc...

My favourite Nic movies are Face Off, City of Angels, Nat Treasure, Captain Corelli's and Ghost Rider.

| Nicholas Cage gets the Rifftrax Treatment. |

Mystery Science Theater 3000's Mike Nelson and Kevin Murphy together skewer Nicholas Cage's Classic Horror Remake Turkey The Wicker Man with one of their latest Rifftrax.
Horror has a new name – and that name is "wicker". Once used almost exclusively in the construction of baskets and attractive outdoor furniture, wicker will now and forever after be synonymous with a terror that will chill your blood and torment your mind! (Though admittedly a certain small percentage of people, rather than associating it with terror, will continue to think of their grandma's patio set. There's nothing you can do about these intractable folks but throw your hands in the air and just give up trying to change their minds where wicker is concerned.) Yes, "Wicker Man" dares to depict a nightmarish world in which Nicolas Cage punches a woman in the face so that he can steal her bear costume. And this after having stolen at gunpoint a bike belonging to a woman dressed as a magpie and then going on to knock out Leelee Sobieski by kicking her in the breadbasket. If this doesn't sound scary, may I remind you that there's WICKER!
Neil LaBute has done the impossible by making the most unintentionally funny movie since "The Lake House". With such rich fare it would be unthinkable not to let Kevin Murphy in on the fun. And so we did! Kevin and Mike couldn't have had a better time with "The Wicker Man" if he'd been made of rattan!
Rifftrax are mp3 commentaries that you download and sync up with your DVD, then laugh along with Kevin and Mike.

We actually "snuck" in to see the Movie Friday night, the night it was released.. Dunno if this was a great Idea or not considering it was going to be a popular movie. Alas, the movie started to a packed house, and we had no problems. Though we were getting worried when the ushers were helping movie go-ers find some seats all together..
Anyhow, I absolutley LOVED the movie. I dont want to say to much for those of you who have not seen it yet.. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?? lol
Thoughts?

There was a dire need for a Ghost Rider community here on LJ, so  kazuldragonfyre and I started one. If you want to discuss the movie, post fan related stuff, just anything to do with Ghost Rider, please join! We're already pretty active, and it's only been open a day. I just saw a preview for the movie GhostRider coming out in February 2007. I think thats a way off.
Of course, as usual, Nic looks HOT!

I'm really behind on my Nick Info... but were you all aware that he is a voice in an upcoming animated movie.. The Ant Bully voice of Zoc? I saw a preview of it last night when we went to see Cars, which btw, you NEED to see! Very cute!
I don't know how good this Ant movie will be, in fact it kind of reminded me of the Disney flick ANTS... they look very similar.
Lookin' at his credits, looks like he's a busy man!

First off, let me say that I feel like a complete git because I thought Nic was going to be wearing leather pants when in fact, he wasn't. The advertisement must have showed his last interview. They tricked me! Heh but I thought he that suit looked nice on him. ;)
Anyway, on to the goodies. Don't know if you all know this but on the The Weather Man Site has some clips and one of them is a behind the scenes clip. I haven't checked it out yet but most surely will soon.
Also, I have FINALLY found out one of the songs that is played on the trailer and TV ad!! I also know that matchboxforever will be happy to know it too because her and I talked about it long ago. The song is The Passenger by Iggy Pop Huzzah! If I can get it on kazaa I will try to upload it into a post for you all to have. ;) I also found the Jughead trailer music if you'd like that too. :P

Nic baby will be on David Letterman on CBS, 11:35pm/ET. For Central, that's what, 10:35pm, right? Oh well. Just put it on CBS and listen for his hot voice.
