What are your feelings and thoughts on us fictosexauls? Why do people attack us, when we want to be with our fictional other that means so much to us.

My observation is that the core group criticizing fictosexauls is actually within the 'otaku' community itself. They have usually also experienced being spiritually saved by anime characters. They also utilize them to fulfill sexual desires.

Moreover, there are probably many men who had the opportunity to play with Barbie dolls or similar toys as boys and felt an inexplicable excitement. However, they were 'jealous' of Mr. Kondo, who publicly 'married' Miku. They judged it as an unforgivable 'sneak attack.'

If there were a hundred people who loved a particular anime character, there would be a hundred different styles of loving them, and they should tolerate each other's ways.

They might tolerate someone else's declaration of 'XX is my wife!' but when someone starts dressing a life-sized doll and living with it, it can only induce jealousy. I think

Mr. Kondo brings out the essence of this problem and works courageously so that many fans of fiction can behave openly as fictosexauls without worrying about how others view them.

Jealousy is the envy of others who have something that you cannot have or do not possess yourself. More precisely, it is a state in which you cannot affirm to yourself that you have such feelings of "envy"—that is, the desire to be like that person.
To affirm this, you would need to be able to acknowledge that, from your own perspective of values, you are inferior to that person.
However, their pride does not allow this.
Therefore, they become desperate to belittle someone like Mr. Kondo, who can behave with self-affirmation.
I think of the song "Kawaikute Gomen." The lyrics of this song depict a woman who, without worrying about how others see her, enthusiastically pursues her "oshi activities".
This song precisely demonstrates the ideal way of being an "otaku."
