Fashion and writing—two things I love. This series, “From My Closet To You,” brings them together.
I’ll be posting on this platform and on Instagram.
What kinds of things did I want to offer everyone?—There were so many things I wanted to do that it took me a while to figure it out. I tend to take my time and think things through...so my creative process is slow...
But I thought, “I just have to give it a try!” and decided to get started. To begin with, I’ll keep things simple. I’ll focus on two types of content. One will be the series pieces themselves. The other will be “Afterword –Hilda's Voice–,” an afterword to the series.
If more people begin reading my pieces...I also hope I can write some kind of special article on this platform as a way of expressing my appreciation. In other words, “There are so many things I want to do, so I’ll keep thinking things through as I go” haha!
This article is posted as “Afterword –Hilda's Voice–.” Going forward, I’ll mainly write about the following.
◆ Main Focus of “Afterword–Hilda's Voice–”
How does a narrative essay centered on fashion come together?―In each afterword, I explain the creative techniques used in the piece. I’ll also introduce the next piece.
Now, ▷ Ep.0 Opening the Closet Door ◁, which I posted, was created as a reel to give you a sense of the series’ world. On this platform, I’ve written the words from the reel.
So, beginning with the next piece, I’ll be posting my work in the style I described in ▷ About “From My Closet To You” ◁.
Given the nature of social media, I struggled with how to handle the Japanese character limit. How much can I express within that limit? It’s not easy…but I’ll do my best so you can enjoy it!
*Every piece is originally written in Japanese, then translated into English to share with more readers.
Lastly, I’ll end with an introduction to Ep.1.

The next piece is titled “Introduction.” It weaves my thoughts and reflections about fashion. This is why I am starting this series—together with the message I wish to convey. I offer this to you.
