新穂高ロープウェイからの絶景にくらくら【岐阜県高山市】
全国通訳案内士としては、絶対に下見しておくべき「新穂高ロープウェイ」にやってきました。日本の自然は外国人観光客に圧倒的人気があるんですよね。その自然を手軽に楽しめるこのロープウェイ、来たかったんです。
５時半に起きて千葉県を出発して、お昼の１２時にロープウェイの駅に到着。気温はもちろん氷点下です。ふもとは晴れていたんで期待していましたが、残念ながら天気は小雪が舞う曇り。それでも下から見る山々は壮大です。これを登るなんて凄すぎる！
もちろんこのタイプの観光地、特に雪の季節はインバウンドの観光客に大人気です。ロープウェイはインバウンドの観光客と一緒にぎゅうぎゅうづめでした。一体どんな景色が見られるのかと心配しましたが、視界が良好ではない中、意外にもロープウェイからは雪の絶景を楽しむことができました。
鉄塔を通過するたびにグインと揺れる感覚が面白かったです。はるか昔、高校生のとき、登山をやっていたのですが、この時期にここを足で登るというのは命がけですね。でもロープウェイに乗るとたった30分くらいで頂上までやってきて、絶景を楽しむことができるんですね。すごいです。
ただ残念ながら今日は視界があまり良好ではなく、雪に覆われた森の風景は、楽しめたものの、遠くの山々は見ることができませんでした。それにしても、やはり絶景は絶景でしたね。今度晴れた日を狙ってもう一度ここに来る理由ができましたね。
