Objection!
That Objection is objectionable

Von Karma
Attention all artists!  We are looking for fans of Gyakuten Saiban 1-4 (Phoenix Wright Trilogy + Apollo Justice) to work on an English comic anthology!

Tentative Title:  Objection!
Circle:  Objection Kikaku (tentative.  We can change this)
Size:  B5, offset (the book will be printed in Japan by a high quality doujinshi publisher <3)
Page Count:  36
Number of participants:  8 (7 artists/circles + the organizer)
Content:  Fan comics based on Gyakuten Saiban.  Material can be PG13, but no adult content.  We are looking for comics.  Writers will need to pair up with an artist in order to participate.
Language:  English
Deadline:  tba (depends on when we have enough members)

Requirements:

  1. All participants must financially contribute to the printing costs.
We will divide the printing + shipping costs and the number of copies equally.
If you cannot contribute financially, please do not applyFor a rough example, if we have eight participants and each member gets ten copies, the financial responsibility per member is:
    1.  $90 for USA
    2. $100 for Canada
    3. $120 for the rest of the world.
    4. If you do not pay your share, your work will not be included.  The financial share includes shipping the books to each participant, which is why it is higher if you live outside of the USA (America's international shipping sucks, I know).
  2. We are hoping to have eight participants.  Each member/circle must contribute 4 complete, polished comic pages.  You can choose to do one long story or several shorter works.
  3. You need to be able to read and write in English.
  4. You must be able to work in Photoshop.  Files need to be submitted in .psd format.  Traditional or digital art is fine.  All artists need to be able to scan their work in at 600 dpi resolution AND have the necessary skills in Photoshop to edit the scans.  More information will be provided after you apply.  If you can't use Photoshop, please work with someone who can help you.  The organizer will not scan and edit your work for you.
  5. You must provide a sample of your artwork.  A black and white/grayscale sample is preferred, but not required.  The anthology will be in grayscale.  All art styles are welcome.
  6. You have to be old enough to send the organizer your address (otherwise, we can't ship your share of the books).  Participants should be at least 16 years of age.  If you work in a circle, the contact member must be at least 16 years of age.  Due to rules set forth by our publisher, all circle members must be at least 13 years of age.
  7. Serious applicants only.  If you don't have the time or the money to participate, please refrain from applying.  It isn't fair to the other members if someone can't/won't pull their weight.
  8. You may apply as a circle.  A circle will be treated as a single artist.  Circles may be composed of multiple artists/writers.  Please note that your circle = one participant.  The circle's financial share is the same as a single artist, the total pages your circle has is four, and the number of copies you will receive is ten.  Your circle will have to decide how to split up everything.
