hey everyone. my name's margeaux and i'm a 25/f/bi/goth/pagan chick living on the coast of maine with my boyfriend of 8 years, our 6-year old daughter and a menagerie of exotic pets. i'm an artist/snake breeder/ghost hunter.

you can see a fairly long list of my interests on my profile page. i could list them all over again here, but that would be pretty redundant. (like they won't be listed again in my intro letter. lol)

i'd mostly like to hear from other bi, bi-curious, goth or pagan girls, preferably in the u.s. or canada, at the moment. it's a plus if you have kids, but i don't discriminate against the child-free.;-) i prefer pals that are into long letters and really getting to know their pals as friends. personally, i tend to write extremely long, rambling, letters and send lots of photos.

if it matters to you, i nearly always handwrite my letters, but some (including my intro usually) will be typed. i have some muscle/nerve/joint problems that affect my hands at times and make it impossible to use a pen, especially for 20+ pages, which is the norm for me.

i'm also looking for new fb and xxx fb swappers. i'm getting back into them after a long hiatus. i enjoy swapping them in bulk. i also swap slams. i'm taking a break from decos for now, but i also like to swap movies, music, books, clothes, pretty much anything mail-able.

my life can be pretty hectic and i'm pretty quirky & surrounded by complete wackos, so i always have interesting stories to tell.

I'm new here, and I used to be a penpal fb and slam swapper a while ago (couple years) I had at one point 90 something odd pen-pals.. alot of them I felt really close to, and now, its all gone.

So, now that I am older, can AFFORD stamps and what-not.. I want them backkkk!! I used to go by the name A-ko Magami, if anyone remembers (and who would??!) I lived at 322 Summit st (hey you never know when you might run into old friends!)

Would it be easier for all of us if I put the intro posts/requests for new pals into memory format for quick lookups? I don't know. It seems like there just isn't much activity going on around here, and I'd like to see that change. :) ivan and I started this place to get people interested in the pal/swap scene again, but somehow, it's not working. So, here's my idea.
IF you want to ask for new pals, please do, and I'll categorize the posts into the memories section. That way, you'll know who's looking for what kind of friends. Also, I'm thinking about making it into a form kind of deal. Kind of like this:

Hello everyone,
Here's my intro post! I'm Tara, I'm 24, and I live near Philadelphia, PA, USA. I'm a penpal skeptic because I always end up with 934857 year old men from Nigeria that want my Social Security Number and the chance to marry me. If that *doesn't* sound like you and you enjoy writing long letters, I'd be happy to write to you via snail mail, and I'll even go first.

Also, I have a few decos that need to be passed on, but so far no destination. Please leave a note if you're interested and I'll contact you by email.

Decos available: 7even deadly sins [gluttony, sloth, anger, envy pages left], vintage deco book, all things English, and from my dreams.

I'm open to receiving any alternative decos, particularly anything anti-war or political or something, because hey, if I have to complain, may as well be creative about it whenever possible! The aforementioned 7even deadly sins deco was fun to do, and I figured I might be able to find more stuff like that around here.

I took some pictures, but I've just re-installed Windows and need to get my camera software on here. The pics are forthcoming.

I'm Nikki, 19 years old and currently going to College over in South San Francisco, Ca :)

I love writing/recieving letters..I am addicted to mixed cds, trading packages, and trading photographs! I love getting letters that are long and in a way tell a story..I like my letters like a journal entry :D I'm weird in that way but I think it's more interesting like that.

Hey, I am a 23 year old Grad student. I used to love my penpals from when I was a kid and would love to start having some again. I make really good mix CDs and I have a nice collection of writing papers!
