Hello all who read this! :)

This community has been completely silent for long - the last message was written here over two years ago. As the maintainer of this community I wanted to change the idea and concept into some other direction, and have still been pondering of what that direction would be. I haven't even been even trying to bring this community back to life. A new year begun, and I decided to give this community a new life too.


Now I have a new idea for orchidheart, this one: This shall become a visual journaling and creativity community. A place for members to come and post pictures of their visual paper journals, other personal projects, and to discuss about journaling, and all other art in the world...

Here shall also be held projects, kind of challenges where one member suggests a theme for a project, then people sign up for it, and all who wanted to take part in this project post pictures of their finished works when done. Project examples: A red-and-turquoise collage, A poem of me as a child, A small thing made of wool, A paper sculpture that describes my soul... You got the idea?

I'd like orchidheart to become a fun, inspiring, and laid-back place for people who like to create and share pictures of their works with other creative people.

Ideas about the community and its projects are very welcome!


I'll start inviting members in the near future... In two weeks time, all old memberships shall be deleted. So, this means that you must re-join orchidheart in order to be a member of the community again. When applying a membership, all people need to show one picture of any kind of artwork they've done in the past, and tell something about themselves, too. Please do consider applying if you'd be interested in this kind of a community!!! :)

So. Been thinking of this hard and wide and made a few half-hearted attempts, but never really got there. I do avoid white processed sugar, but I´ve always wanted to try to live completely without- I think it may do interesnaja things to the tastebuds.:) So now instead of making a lifetime commitment which I´d break anyway, I´ll START MY SUGARLESS WEEK FROM TODAY!!

For a week, I won´t have any white sugar in anything, nor will I eat anything that´s got any sugar added in it. I will have some honey, most probably, from time to time.

And then we´ll see after that week, if I´m in the mood for keeping another one. ^_^ It´s much easier to decide small things than big things. Hmmm.

I´ll be reporting, if only for my own fun.;)

seeking free image storage site to import my photos to lj through. lists or suggestions would be much appreciated, thanks! fotopic seems to have recently started charging for it; all of my lj pictures that had been stored there are suddenly missing from my journal, though still visible on fotopics site.

I'm new and I decided to join this community because I could use motivation and I like the positive aspect of this community. Feel free to add me as a friend because I'll be sure to add you back. I want to motivate people, it's a good thing to do. TTYL!

Maybe it's a LJ maintenance thing, but I thought I'd check.
It's weird in a way, because I came here to ask what you people would think if I deleted this community. And now there are no posts. Weird!!! :O

Things To Do---

*Just. Make. That. Damned. Phonecall. To. The. Producer. Already.
(how hard can it be...take the phone, pick the number, call, be done with it in ten minutes MAX)
*run around on fleamarkets, trying to get hold of lots of materials for to start making the props to "Stalker". And please, summer doesn´t last forever, and these have to be ready by August. Please don´t delay with them until end of July, when there´s enough to do with other matters.
*...with that in mind, why not call the director and ask him to put the money on your account so that you could actually buy anything? My gods, my memory is but a sieve these days.
*..and mail the train ticket to said director to get some pocket money..
*put all the decos into envelopes, address the envelopes, and make them ready to be sent out as soon as some money mystically appears from nowhere...but it helps to do *something* about the matter anyway.
*go get those papers, go check the café logo, make the posters, deliver them to the café keeper, get your money and be done with it. You promised to be quick, you haven´t. Spank. Spank.
*herbs and plants to harvest- they wither or grow too big if you don´t, simply, and you need your cough syrup next winter as well.
*tomorrow is a good day to start with any of this. Day after tomorrow is already late.
