| ★ Non-AU, real-time. ★ Japanese muses only, but residents are allowed. ★ Old school preferred with limited exceptions. ★ No uber. ★ Be prepared to write! Do we have your attention? Okay, let's launch into the basics. Yes, you read correctly. Our motif is that we would rather have the fine wine than the $5.99 box from the gas station that was packed last week. But what about the exceptions? Well, you'll need someone who's on the list. Your muse will need to be able to prove that they're buddies with someone who is old school, whether it be through personal friendship or professional connection. Keep in mind, however, that this may not necessarily get them in if we really feel that they won't fit in the community. There are plenty of other places that house other nationalities and that provide a medium that is uber-friendly, so please don't come here looking for either of these things. No uber covers everything from breaking the fourth wall to discussing things with other muses that they have no way of knowing. We don't want to see your muse talking about muns, or about other faces, or anything else. You're in character, all the time. We're old school in our muse choices and our roleplaying style, which means that novel-style paragraph posts through AIM are going to be the dominant choice of interaction here. IMing and commenting are encouraged, but scenes will be what others will expect of you. If you're not playing reasonably often, you may not be counted as active and your muse might lose his spot, so bear that in mind. The community is for IC and OOC posts both. Consider it a public forum and a means of your muse interacting with everyone at once and making friends. Their own journal is for a more private level of interaction, and it is their choice who they let in to see it. They are not required to friend everyone by default, though they're allowed to if they so wish. Drop posts, etc. will go in the community as well, under the "ooc" tag along with whichever tag best fits the post. Make sure you tag the community entries with your muse's name, too! It will be added once your muse has been approved to join. |

| Create a journal before applying, and post your claim to the community through it. Spelling, grammar and length will count in your sample post and it should be in third person. If you have an interest in someone but can't apply right away, feel free to put a hold on them by commenting on the CLAIMS LIST. They will be held for up to a week. If your claim is rejected, please feel free to try your luck again after a week, either with a new muse or the same one with new information. Just be aware that we'll expect you to be consistent in the quality of your writing! Once you've been approved, ADD THE MODERATOR JOURNAL TO THE MUSE'S FRIENDS. You may post entries, add friends spontaneously or contact other muses, talk to other players and generally run amok now. Have fun! Oh, and we list muses by their oldest claim-to-fame band, so check by those rather than current projects. Muses will list their other bands in their application for reference. |

| ★ We recommend you do not join if you are under 18. ★ AIM is necessary. Whether your muse has their own or you use a single one for yourself and them is up to you. ★ Activity checks will be based on personal journal entries, comments and how often you play. We frown on cross-claiming and out-of-game uber posts, but if you have to do it, please filter our game members from all other activity. When you join, add the mod journal to your friends list for this reason. You may pick and choose your friends and general entries may be posted to the community by your muse, also (use your muse's tag). Just remember that it is a public forum whereas their own journal is intended to be viewable by their friends alone. ★ Players are limited to 4 muses on a case-by-case basis. Usually you will have to wait two weeks to a month between claims. While you can join anonymously, you need to provide the mods with your information before your claim will be accepted. This will be completely safe and will not be used against you under any circumstances. Private contact details are listed below. ★ We expect maturity from players. The rules of life are present here, including pregnancy and other such consequences of action. Powerplaying is not tolerated, nor is sock-puppeting. Even if it might take you out of the mood, be sure you discuss anything that could be potentially problematic with another player, such as rape. If OOC disputes happen for whatever reason, do not bring it IC. If it's a problem you absolutely cannot resolve, contact a mod and we'll try and help. We want to keep this fun for everyone, above all else, and you should be aware that we are willing to bring down the hammer to ensure this remains the case. ★ All gameplay is in English and we would love cooperation on this. We consider this a direct translation and that all muses are already speaking Japanese between themselves. However, if your muse really, really wants to write in Japanese, please provide a translation for the sake of muns who don't speak the language. We don't want anyone alienated because of language barriers that their muse shouldn't potentially be affected by when the mun is. If necessary, minor speaking traits can be provided in a mod entry for quick reference as these do not require translation. ★ If a muse is dropped, any important slate must be turned over to one of the mods within a 7 day period, otherwise it will be lost when another claims that muse. Please also be aware that you will be expected to be flexible on details and mods cannot force a player to keep any slate that their desired muse has racked up. |
