After hearing people complain about wanting a better-maintained community, a_lack0f_color decided to create this one. She has been MIA as of recently but if she is to come back, I will of course give ownership right back up to her. (I being cryptsmell.)

  • Stay on topic. Any comments which are not on topic with a secret question will be deleted.
  • Replies to secrets do not have to be posted anonymously. Likewise, comments made to Monday's picture secret posts do not have to be anonymous.
  • The moderators reserve the right, at their discretion, to freeze any thread they believe is abusive to other members. If you feel there is a thread that should be brought to the moderators' attention, please follow the proper guidelines for reporting it. Anything else will be ignored.
  • Keep personal drama out!
  • Do not post user names or links to anyone on LJ, MySpace, etc. for the purpose of starting drama. Any comments found doing this will be deleted without warning.
  • Do not advertise this community in other postsecret-based communites. If you wish to advertise, please only do so in promotion-related communities.
  • If you have an issue with another member please try to work things out MATURELY. If that doesn't work, please comment here with complete details, including a link to the thread so it may be handled properly.     Go to the community's user info. Click the blue pencil in the menu. (Or go here.) Write what you think one of the daily post topics should be, and post it. You will be notified that it was submitted to the moderation queue, and will be notified when we accept or decline your topic. Please make sure when you post an entry to the queue it is available to be viewed by "Everyone (Public)." If the entry is marked as "friends only," anonymous commenting is automatically disabled.   • Picture secrets will be posted on Monday of each week.
  • Picture secret submission posts will be opened each Monday, and closed the following Saturday approximately midnight EST.
  • Secrets can be no larger than 600x600 pixels.
  • Starting 07/21/2008 only pictures uploaded to TinyPic will be accepted.
  • When posting a picture, please only submit one link per comment, and use the "Direct Link for Layouts" they provide. Please see the most current submission entry for details.
  • We do not allow copyrighted images to be posted. If it is found that an image is copyrighted, it will be removed at request of the original owner. To report a copyrighted image, comment here.

  • Any and all rules are subject to change at any time. Notification will be given at the time of such a change.
