Persia Jessica White (born October 25, 1972 in Miami, Florida) is an American actress and musician. She currently plays Lynn Searcy on the sitcom Girlfriends. She is a member of the dark alternative band XEO3. Persia White was raised in Nassau, Bahamas, and Miami. Her father is Bahamian American and her mother is Caucasian American.

Personally, with my great love of body art, I've been amazed by her tattoos for years. However, I know a lot of television personalities don't necessarily have the ones they show in their roles. I recently found out hers are real!

Didn't actually know about her music until just recently. As stunned as I've been by her, kind of a deer in the headlights thing, I've never actually bothered to go looking for her through various media or online.

These are a variation of the rules I setup for House·of·Skin, and kinda sorta Comix too in a very unofficial capacity:

• This is not a photo community by design. I suspect fans of this celebrity will want to post images or icons or any other number of visual mediums and that's okay with me. Just be aware that there will be posts here that have no pictures in them at all going in. You can complain about it if you like...but it probably won't do any good.


• Be you male or female or something else, it's a funny old world, one thing that a good number of us fans have in common is a desire to see our idols naked. I, being male, understandably do not have a problem with this. This community is not specifically about naked shots of the celebrity in question...but if you happen to have access to some and want to post them you do what you feel is best.


• The friends filter (Clicky!) option is your friend! This community is, potentially, not work safe so it's best that if you're a member you don't view your friendslist as a whole depending on where you are. Got a complaint from a guy once because his kid sister was in the room and she almost saw something. You really shouldn't be viewing this community around little kids! Also not at work, in church, at the busstop, or while operating heavy equipment (No that does not count as heavy equipment!)


• It is tricky for me to make sure you're all above age, I lead a quirky life, and I'm thinking on suggesting with the next upgrade the tech folks of LJ include birthdays in a directory search. Every couple months I'll go through the member list if I'm not at work and I've got a few hours to kill but so far I've only had to remove accounts that have been deleted for whatever reason. To be on the safe side, even though the system has no way of confirming this, have your birthdate and year listed on your user info. I may not check very often but I do check every so often.


• We're not big on the use of LJ·cuts here so long as you're posting single images. If you're posting multiples you need to use an LJ·cut. If you're posting an image and a video you need an LJ·cut for one of them. The only real way around this is if you're using thumbnail images. If you don't know what those are then don't worry about it. Images do not necessarily need to be behind an LJ·cut unless there's more than one or the one is excessively huge; best guideline there is that up and down big is okay but left to right big is bad...nothing wider than 600 pixels is a good guideline.


• Try to be polite...you would not believe the number of complaints about comments that are taken to be insults but may've been critiques that could've been phrased better. Any outright and clear abuse of another member and you're outta here. It's okay to criticize, and flirt to whatever point the person posting doesn't mind, but let's try to keep stuff from getting harsh. We're just trying to have a good time and appreciate what's being shown.


• There are members here who periodically post images from their pay sites they have access to. If you see something you like but can't see the rest of the gallery it came from you shouldn't complain about it; enjoy what you get. If you like it that much then maybe you should become a paying member of whoever's site it came from.


• The moderator (that's me) has the end say about what posts stay and what posts go. I've periodically deleted stuff I thought was innapproriate...though not that often. I don't warn folks either...stuff just goes away.

If you want to advertise any kind of community please do so at We·Need·a·Life and not here. I used to allow advertising in any of my communities if it kept to the theme of that community but I'd like to cut down on that a bit...until it dwindles to nothing.
