I never quite got to collect these, although I would have loved to. When I was a little girl, my mother always discouraged me from getting superhero (or boy related) toys. It's a shame. I mean, now that I am older, I have had a chance to go back and get things I was unable to have as a kid, but not very many.

This promotion from Kentucky Fried Chicken was done during the time in which Pokemon was in its infancy and still hadn't developed a huge fanbase yet, which is odd, given that these are high end toys to be selling for a show that wasn't huge here at that time. I managed to snag three of the four plushies: Dratini, Vulpix, and Seel. I could have gotten Zubat but I refused because I hated the thing.

Didn't get much for Christmas. Didn't do much for Christmas. I went out the day before and it was fun. Saw Tintin movie, which was good. Still waiting on the present I got myself for Christmas/birthday and it hasn't arrived. Uneventful, but not best or worst X-mas ever. Need food.

I typically don't look at TWOP much, but I can't help but point out that I completely agree with their assessment of the recent TV season finales. A great huge WORD to their positivity towards Community, Parks & Rec, and Hawaii Five-0 in particular. And I'm also satisfied that they pointed out the awfulness for Smallville, House (lol, I watched the episode a while ago and wow. Just wow.), and Glee... Although I do disagree with Big Bang Theory being labeled as one of the best. :/ And while How I Met Your Mother was predictable, it wasn't as bad as they made it out to be.

But still, yeah, awesomeness.

So, tonight is the end of Smallville.

So, there's this new website! It's called Figure of the Day where each day an action figure is showcased for sale at a bargain price. It's of the same vain as Tee Fury which is a similar site but for t-shirts. Today was the launch day and the figure sold was Thor from the new movie. I'm kind of hoping they will expand to sell non-superhero figures as well.

So, it seems that I found a new apartment. Yes, this is my fourth one and hopefully, the last one for a long, long time. We'll see. But it's quite pretty, set in a rural area. :)

I might be MIA from posting in this LJ until about...mid June, methinks.
