This is a community for posting anything based on Lily Evans (Potter) and James Potter from the Harry Potter series</b>. Most anything is allowable: drabble, art, one shot fiction, chapter fiction, song fics, icons, graphics, ANYTHING! All entries must be made under an LJ-Cut and proceeded by an appropriate header.
All fan work should be preceded by a header that includes the name, type of media, and any rating or warning you feel necessary. If your fic/art is higher than G, then a reason why listed here would be stellar. It is not mandatory unless the fic is NC-17. All NC-17 posts must be friend locked.
After the header, put your work under an LJ-cut! If you're work is not under an LJ-cut when I or my fellow mod reach it, we will comment telling you that you have earned a warning. Then we will delete your work. Simple as that! Do it again, then you get the boot. Sorry, rules are rules and these ones are not made to be broken.

Essays:
They occur and can be very interesting. **If you are writing a Newbie Post and have no inspiratin for Lily/James lovin', then write an essay comparing Lily/James to your favourite literary couple/pairing. Include where this pairing can be located. It is completely acceptable to use another Harry Potter universe pairing. If you get people disagreeing with you about your comparison, then deal with it. Debating of pairing is welcome until a mod steps in due to nastyness. Another time when an essay could be useful is if you would like to advertise another community! There will be no spamming this community with one liners about joining comms. Those will be deleted and you will be banned ASAP. You must write an essay about why your community is pertainant to this community. The logic of they are both Harry Potter will get you no where! Dig deep with your advertising essays. We'll even put a link in our userinfo if your essay is good enough.
