Memory Tree
Celebrate the life of a loved one with a beautiful ever-lasting tribute. For a donation, you can commemorate the life of your loved one by placing an inscribed leaf on our beautiful Memory Tree, whether they had received care from the Primrose Hospice or not.
The Primrose Memory Tree is positioned in our RHS award-winning garden, installed in 2025. The designers took great care to make the space a tranquil place where you can visit anytime. The area is bathed in natural light, and when the sun catches the leaves throughout the day, the shimmering reflections dance around the garden.
You are welcome to visit the garden to reflect and remember whenever you wish, while being comforted that your donation enables us to support our patients and families.
‘I have placed a leaf on the Tree in memory of my husband Neil’ says Val, a volunteer at the hospice, ‘It means I can go and sit on the bench alongside the tree, especially when the garden is quiet and talk to him, even to have a moan if that’s how I’m feeling. It’s a place where I can feel close to him’
What does my donation go towards?
A £100.00 donation could provide a child with 6 one-to-one sessions with our family support team. These sessions help a child prepare for a bereavement when a loved one is living with a life-limiting illness or support them after a loved one has died, providing them with the coping mechanisms to prevent them from feeling isolated and alone. Honouring your loved one with a leaf on the Memory Tree ensures that we can continue this vital work caring for patients and their families when they need us most.
