Finally, I have the splash page up to my off-LJ blog! I showed it to one of my friends a couple weeks back and she could just barely suppress hopping out of her seat with excitement.

Okay, so it's official. I finally snagged a host. Yay *waves little flag and blows party-whistle* I'm enjoying it so far since the financial upkeep isn't too bothersome and it's actually granting me the freedom that I need to create my blogging space. Sadly, my domain is currently being "propogated" to my hosting service and so my site will not be active until July 30th or 31st.
Nevertheless, do feel free to take up bids on how long it will take for me to use up my disk space. Cuz I don't think it'll last that long >_> Sniff sniff.
As a side note, I am almost somewhat finished with designing the layout for my blog. Hopefully both my LJ friends and non-LJ friends will like it due to its heavy emphasis upon the upcoming movie Twilight. And, to you Edward/Bella fans out there--I'm rooting for Jacob/Bella, of course--I deserve ample praise once the site is up and running. BTW, I accept Paypal and cash. No money orders. I'll try my best to get a screenshot up since I've been a bit lazy with my updates :p Oh, and catch more Twilight goodies at lion_lamb! :D Yes, this is totally a pimp-entry for that LJ community. Click and visit! It is sooooo AWESOME! And, miraculously enough, I have a few Twilight graphics--thanks to my Photoshop-binge--that I'm thinking about posting there. Though the thought is still, well, in the "thinking" stage.

Yeah...still trying to nab a host for my Wordpress blog, which isn't working out very well right now. I'm still kinda blaming Wordpress.com for that since I signed up with them under the poorly misguided assumption that they were Wordpress.ORG. DARN IT! I mean "Golly-geeeeee." -__- Yeah...I forgot that I'm supposed to be taking that word out of my vocabulary...
What can I do? My parents think it's a "wordy-dirty" :p (copyright to my friend).
Ah well. I'm trying my hardest to get the money that was spent on Wordpress.COM so that I can properly find a host and install Wordpress.ORG.
Now...I know what you may be thinking. "What's the stupid difference?!?!?!111?" Well the difference is that one is like Livejournal while the other is like having your own site with a domain name, web-editing goodies, and other good stuff. I just hope I can get it installed before this summer is over with because I really want to keep it for the sake of my friends and family once I go off to "collage" (n. The falso-French word for "college")
And to tx_tsuki: I so meant to wish you a happy b'day, but I forgot ;_; Still though, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!
Yeah...I've been a bit busy (though not in the stressful sense) :p Instead, I've been focused on keeping my grades up and making sure that I leave my Junior year with straight A's under my belt ^^ My last final term is on Monday. After that, I am technically a Senior...or is that a "Senior-to-be??"
Ah well. I just wanted to inform everyone that I apologize for not keeping up with your entries ;_; I truly didn't mean to... But while I was away from my journal, I have been able to start on (AND FINISH) a new layout for my journal...which leads me to some half-devastating, half-good news.
I'm leaving Livejournal.com behind and allowing Wordpress.com to host my blog instead. Although that means that I cannot have a friends list, it does not mean that I will cease to keep up with my LJ friends. And this way, I can have my own domain name and everythang! :p
I hope no one's upset with the change ^^; I just want to be able to have a more open range for CSS editing.
I LOVES YOU ALL!!! I'll be sure to check back with the site name of my blog hopefully by next week. Again, I hope no one is upset about this :( If so, try to remember that I WILL be checking in from time to time to see how my LJ-buds are doing :) *cheesy smile*
I still cannot believe that my journal has been in limbo for so long. I meant to write something down, really I did, but I guess the gravitational pull of life is a hard thing to ignore. Amazingly enough, what words I had planned on jotting down have been long forgotten, so I hope I will not be blamed for the brevity of this entry.
School is going along nicely. Although I am no longer in IB, I'm actually becoming fast attune to my regular high-school life. And, can you believe it, I'm actually making A's!
Another thing that's just dying to be mentioned is--
I'M FINALLY AN IPHONE OWNER! Yeah, I know it doesn't sound like much, but it's a title that I will continue to flaunt around inside my heart forever...
...well at least until next month :P
I can't wait until it arrives. It's just too bad I can't take any pictures *sticks tongue out at mom's bad Kodak camera*
