Welcome to Reno

This is a community for Reno residents, or people interested in the city of Reno. You're welcome to join, and please keep it reasonably polite.

Feel free to use the community for:

• Talking about some interesting goings-on in the city


• Letting people know about any new or weird shows in town


• Stories of the crazies that accost you downtown


• Asking questions about things you need to know (like, say, store hours or landmarks for directions)


• Yelling about the Wolf Pack college teams


• Getting to know other Renoites


• Grumbling about the city's inability to function with the tiniest fluctuation in the weather


• Posting pictures of things around the city (but please, anything bigger than 50kb, larger than 500 pixels in width or height, or multiple images should be placed behind a cut)

Yelling at Nick Fazekas the Wolf Pack IS allowed, and encouraged with every 3 he misses.

It's not limited to this, but those are just some ideas.

Please do not use this community for the promotion of other communities or local bands. It looks like renoites exists only for those posts, and I'm sure most members would prefer to keep the communities separate. There is a reason a second community was created. Local events like the Farmers' Market, or some craft sales are fine as they're community events. Your garage band playing at a club isn't a community event. Sorry.
