| TOUR DATES NEEDED |
[19 Jun 2006|11:14pm] |
Hi! My name's Fernando and I play in the Flint, Michigan based band, I Am The Sky. With former members of local acts such as The Transatlantic Sail, Via Cathrina, Ari Thanos, and I Once Was a Beautiful Belle; I Am The Sky is looking to push onward in ways its predecessors could not. Taking influence from all genres, including jazz; metal; hardcore; and progressive indie rock, I Am The Sky can guarantee to put on a breathtaking show for all modern audiences. It not only takes the ability to play music to get somewhere, but it takes the will and determination that I find we all share within the band. We are very interested in proving ourselves as a band to you and would love to play your venue.
We are currently looking to book shows for the following dates:
July 24th, July 25th, July 26th
You can reach us through www.myspace.com/iamtheskyyy or send us an e-mail of any dates you would be willing to have us on at iamtheskybooking@yahoo.com.
Take care, Fernando iamthesky

okay. heres the deal. The Virus and Clit 45 are gonna be in indy on wednesday. here are directions if you are coming from bloomington: take 37 all the way up to 465 N. exit there. take 465 N. to the W. Washington Street exit, and exit there. after that you will come to a stoplight, and you need to turn right there onto High School Road. after that, you will come to another stoplight. That will be Moores Rd., i believe. turn left there (if i have the name of that street wrong, just turn at the next light after high school road). then the ISC Skatepark hould be on your left. its a big grey warehouse looking building. you will probably see other cars and kids out there. thats all. hope i see ya there!

Ok, I just found out more stuff about the Beer Olympics...
It's booked at the Masquerade, like usual, October 15th-17th. That's a Friday-Sunday. One of the nights is a local show with Iron Cross like last year. That show is $6. The two days for the actual Olympics are $25 total. As for bands, here's what's confirmed so far...
