belmontpark wants you to come on down!

belmontpark is an au roleplay community set in the fictional Chicago suburb, Belmont Park, located west of the city. The community is comprised of characters who are both high school and college students. We currently accept High School Juniors & Seniors, and all College aged characters, with both on and off campus living. Bob Barker has nothing to do with our community, but hey, he caught your attention didn't he?

We're doing some spring cleaning, some people have recently left us, and we've got a lot of new spots open. Take a look at what we're really about. Bring in your kids. Lets party.

Let's go to Pigfarts!

For millions of years, Pigfarts has stood ahead of the crowd as the most interesting of schools (on Mars, of course), and the only one to specifically teach advanced wizardry. It was home to many an experiment, mixing magic with technology, and exploring the vast reaches of the universe.

One day, they did not stop at their universe.

Rumbleroar was in his lair enjoying an episode of Stargate, when he was struck with inspiration. A portal was what he needed- a portal to get more student to his school much, much, much more quickly than a regular old spaceship. But Rumbleroar, being a truly amazing wizard, made the portal a little too well. Instead of just connecting with Earth, it connected to thousands of other worlds and universes in all kind of parallel dimensions.

And that’s where you come in!

Whether you were on a battlefield, under the sea, of in a quiet country town, you’ve suddenly found yourself transported to the grand space station of Pigfarts, with a whole new set of powers and magic to replace your old ones (if you had any).

What’s that? You want to go home?

Well………… we’re working on it. In the meantime, get yourself sorted, sign up for some classes, and enjoy the beauty of Mars!

Currently only applications and reservations are open, depending on how many people are interested a date will then be decided when the whole thing will be open.

Life changed in 1930 for every wizard and witch in London. Gellert Grindelwald killed Albus Dumbledore on a muggle street and rose to power. Nothing is like it should be. It wasn't long before Grindelwald extended his power to the muggle world as well as the magical world. Halfbloods, muggleborns, and even muggles live in fear. Breaking boundaries and rewriting old laws, he controlled everything he could see. Unhappy with just that, he stretched his power, spanning countries. The Class of the Chrysanthemum rose early against the dark dictator, only to be broken into factions when their leader, Cassiopeia Black, met her untimely death at the end of Grindelwald's wand. Still the Class of the Chrysanthemum fought on in factions, not knowing who to trust. It's war, but no one seems to know it. The game is set in 2001 currently. Grindelwald's is coming out publicly, eventually, with his relationship with Vlad Tepelus. The plot and arcs depend and focus on the reactions of the characters over Grindwald's decisions, his new leadership role and loyalty, and the actions he takes as a consequences that effects all. The plots also focus on relationships of current characters that unfold. Reopening March 5th, 2012! Most wanted: Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy, Nymphadora Tonks, Andromeda Tonks, Ted Tonks, Narcissa Malfoy, Luna Lovegood, Parvati Patil, Padma Patil, Alicia Spinnet, Seamus Finnigan, Dean Thomas, Rabastan Lestrange, Rodolphus Lestrange, Pansy Parkinson, Fred Weasley, Ron Weasley, and many more. Accepting canon characters, muggles, and [magical/muggle] original characters!

Dresden Academy: A Harry Potter Universe Game for OCs


Dresden Academy
Dresden Academy is a high school/university game for Original Characters set in the Harry Potter Universe. We're looking for players who like organic plots and can think outside of the sandbox. Played on scribbld. There is an undercurrent of change at Dresden. Jillian Hulett, the current headmistress, is dealing with the New York Association of Wizards' decision to cut the school's funding this year, and the turmoil her budgetary decisions will cause. The students (and faculty) are set to revolt. The school is a powder keg, and some unsavoury individuals with their own agendas are set to light a match.

Welcome to Crestwood Falls Academy

Crestwood Fall has educated boys and girls for nearly a century, where it has helped to mold and shape the leaders of the future by providing a distinctive education. An all-inclusive school located in beautiful Napa County, California, Crestwood Falls has everything students could ask for: sun, a lake for swimming on campus, good food, and good wine. Just don’t let the teachers catch you with any.

The students come from all walks of life. And by “all” we mean “privileged”. Most students that attend come from upper middle class and upper class families. They are children of the rich and famous, future world leaders, students who need to prove that they are different from their parents, and those whose parents don’t know what else to do with them. There are also scholarship students who were accepted into the school based on their academics. But they’re few and far between.

Upon enrollment then acceptance into the school, each student is placed in one of six dorms.

Ashford Hall: Lowerclassmen – Boys
Hammonds Hall: Lowerclassmen – Girls
Wellington Hall: Upperclassmen – Boys
Kensington Hall: Upperclassmen – Girls
Mercer Hall: Upperclassmen – Boys – Invitation Only
Kelly Hall: Upperclassmen – Girls – Invitation Only

Mercer Hall and Kelly Hall are dorms for upperclassmen in which students must be invited to live. Candidates for residency are chosen by The Fallen, a secret society of senior students who hold the keys to success at Crestwood Falls in their hands.
