Have you ever thought "I wonder where I could find Character A/Character B" or "There should be more Character X/Character P"? What if there were a community where you could ask these very questions... and actually get answers? If this sounds like the answer to your prayers, then

screwcanon is the place for you.

Here's how this works:

1) Join the community and make a post that says, for example, "I would like to read McGonagall/Fudge." Be sure to put "screw canon!" as your subject line. If you have multiple requests, please categorize them by fandom, as in this post.
*We ask that you please try to keep requests in the Harry Potter fandom to a minimum, since there is already so much out there. If, however, you have scoured every corner of the internets for that one particular fic, then go right on ahead.

2) Your request will then be added to the master list in the community info (scroll down a bit and you'll see it). Please check the master list before posting your request to make sure no one else has already requested the same thing.

3) Other members of the community will see your request and may then post their own fic or recs for that pairing.
*When posting fic, please use "FIC: Character A/Character B" as the subject line, and be sure to use the following format:
Title:
Fandom:
Pairing:
Rating:
Summary:
For: (the username of the person who made the request.)

Please cut or link to any fic longer than 100 words. When posting recs, use the subject line "REC: Character A/Character B", and include Author along with the other required information. Please link to recommendations, unless you have the author's permission to repost.

4) Fics and recs will be added to the community memories and sorted by pairing.
