Obviously the "next edition of French Twist" isn't coming out since it's been over a year. I'm sorry :( I just got stuck and it wasn't fun anymore. So I'm going to take the cover off my user info.



Anyways, believe it or not, I just got sims University. Shocker I know. Can you believe I had been playing the sims for 5 years without a single EP? Well thanks to my boyfriend I now have 4 EPs (University, Nightlife, OFB, and Freetime) and I can't stop playing. I had successfully quit the Sims cold turkey late last year and now I'm hooked again. Anyways, here's just a little something funny that happened ytd that I wanted to share with you guys.

This is a picture of one of many characters, Liza. She's a pretty blond with piercings and an emo hubby. She is kind of 'scene' herself... Hope you like this picture. I thought it was cute. :)

It's been so long since I last updated this thing. I've been going to school, working, and falling in love ;) so I've had very little time to play the sims. Anyways, I've started playing a bit again and I've been wanting to make a series of home decor editions of french twist with themes from around the globe. I don't know how many there will be but I've gotten a few ideas for at least 3 anyway. Here's the cover of the first of them:

My friend Kkes and I have started a new sims community, specifically for contests and themed photoshoots. At slapdash_sims, anyone with the Sims can join; we'll be doing contests and themes that anyone is able to do, no matter what expansions they do or do not have. Some of the contests that we've decided on so far are: home design, fashion magazine spreads, fairy tales and mythology. We've got a whole list; that's just a sampling.

Also; I'm sure some of you are wondering exactly what you get out of winning the contests. Well, we've decided on a point system. 100 points for first place, 75 points for second place, 50 points for third place and 25 points for fourth place. At the end of 6 months, the person with the largest amount of points will be awarded a year of paid LJ time. That's a pretty good deal for just taking some pictures, yeah?!

So I would appreciate if you would go to slapdash_sims and check it out. We're also looking for people who would be willing to be judges for the contests; Kkes and I would like to partake in some of these contests, as well, so ... Yeah. We need impartial judges. Any takers?

Wow, this is weird.

I could've sworn I closed this account and community. I was just browsing around some friends' ljs and I decided to look up sim_photos just for fun, I had no idea it was still open and ppl were still joining and posting -- which was a wonderfully, pleasant surprise :)

I think the community has grown faster since I left than while I was actively updating and promoting lol. Anyways, I'm not coming back. I've escaped the clutches of sims 2 \and enjoying the real world at the moment. Maybe I'll be back in the future. Until then, keep taking pics and keep posting them! I'll be back occasionally to check them out.
