Jimena "Jim" Medina is a secondary character on Soy Luna. Jim enjoys skating, but her true love lies in dancing and performing. Jim is quick to fall in love, but she'll put her friendships above boys. She is always seen by the side of her best friend Yam and frenemy Ramiro.
She is portrayed by Ana Jara.

Jim has a bright personality and falls in love easily. She is also quiet, thoughtful, and creative. She loves to skate, but her true passion is dancing. She takes her talent very seriously and values her best friend, Yam very much. Jim believes Yam balances her out and that they complement each other.

Season 1[]

Jim is first introduced at Jam & Roller with Yam, her best friend, trying to be the first people signed up for Open Music. However, Pedro hasn't posted it yet and are forced to wait a little longer. Jim meets Luna on her first day at school. Jim and Yam show Luna the dance they were preparing for the Open Music. She and Yam also show their dance to Ramiro, who says the dance "isn't bad," and calls them "beginners."
In Season1/Episode 05, Jim and Yam are in class at Blake South College, together once again, when they get called up to the front by the teacher. They're so preoccupied with trying to finish sewing the details onto their outfits for Open Music that the teacher decides to send them to the principal's office. When Yam tries to persuade the teacher otherwise, she knocks over the mug of coffee sitting on the desk, staining Jim's dress for the opening. All ends well in the end when Yam decides to pour Ramiro's iced coffee on her own dress right before going on stage, making the stain look like a pattern. The two perform "A Rodar mi Vida".

- She is Spanish and speaks with a clear Spanish accent.[3]
- Her style has been described as "hippie-rock" by Jazmín. She's often seen wearing tattoo chokers and different necklaces.[4]
- She along with Delfi is the only character who has never performed as a soloist in the show's open music.
- Her partner for the roller skating contest was Nico.
- Nico was her first boyfriend.
- It was revealed in Season 1/Episode 23 that she is 16.
- She is better at choreographing dances than she is at singing.[3]
