Damn bro, same thing has been happening to me, I can't figure out and now I see that no one is answering this, I hope that maybe commenting on this can bring some attention to someone who can help.

Same here, i csnt get it to work either, i even tried changing the affinity which you can do via task manager but that didnt work either :(

hey update i got to work with a mod i found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/prototype/mods/52?tab=description follow the prompt to make an account you can do it for free download the mod follow the set up can do for free also, now look for the batch file called ApplyGameFIxLaunchFix click yes and when starting up the game allow changes and it should hopefully work
