To try and answer your question at this time before the rerelease bloodbowl 2 is superior, better priced and offers a complete team experience. The rerelease is said to improve AI and redo the business model I assume to not have so much content around forced PVP play for DLC or IN game currency. They did officially state that teams would be available for cash like they were in bloodbowl 2 so you can flip a coin and take the gamble or go with 2 if you want a better experience

The franchise has now changed hands and Slitherine now owns it (strategy game specialists) they are still supporting BB3 but I believe they are now releasing a new game entirely Warhammer Blood Bowl sometime around the end of the year. So if you wait you are likely to get a much better game that won't be monetised up the wazoo. That said if money is no issue to you BB3 is in the best state its been in since release (though thats not saying much tbh) BB2 remains a better version

It's cheaper at Fanatical right now. Might be worth it to buy it now and hope the upgrade won't suck ass.

That's true. If it's purely for the gameplay then fumbbl is perhaps the best option. I do enjoy the presentation of BB3 tho.

yes fumbbl has been around for over 20 years they dont use the same assets or the same figues they just use the rules of the game and the devs have allowed them to exisit for this long. They solved this legal battle 0ver 15 years ago. its mutally agreed upon. its also not a full 3d it slike 2,5d
