Played this on gamepass a while ago but i decided to get it on Steam. I also heard that controller is the way to play. Is that true

yes and u can use keyboard

I play mouse and keyboard. Currently going through campaign on inconceivable with mouse and keyboard. Didn't remap anything but turned sensitivity on mouse down a bit.

Not a best investment to buy dead games) Just complete campaign on GP. Controller is for high rank PvP due to sliding.
