Absolutely insane game.
Gameplay: Deckbuilding Roguelike
Story: Fromsoft level of depth if YOU decide to dive deeper
Difficulty: Exponential
Polish: Like Outer Wilds, I feel like this is one of those games that are almost perfect. Ties in all the knots of the story beautifully while leaving the ending and the future open enough to imagine.

Weaker points: late game puzzles require a lot of note-taking and screenshots to have even a chance to solve, and there's no in-game mechanic for this. I also used a spoiler-free guide for the final puzzles as these were above my ability, but this is not necessarily a bad thing, just not my cup of tea.

There is a point with every game, most of all the most considered games, where if you zoom in further and further on a particular element and ask why the decision there was made, then eventually the answer will be that "it was the default" "it was just an easy answer" "it's just a standard, filler choice." I truly think, to find the point in Blue Prince where choices were made simply because they work, you would need an electron microscope.

This is a game of singular detail. It can be scoured for puzzles, and puzzles will be found. There is always another question. There is always a new clue.

not a logic puzzle game.
if you don't share the exact braincell with the writer, it makes zero sense.
I get people like it. but 100% not for me.
