The game's great. I can't deny that. I love it, I've grown deeply attached to these goofy little ovals with circles on top, and have erased entire factions from planets for their sakes. The modding scene is incredibly diverse, the ost is amazing. But my main gripe is the cost of the DLC. You want the 5 content DLC that (mostly) revolutionize the game? That'll run you a mindboggling 160.75 AUD/111.88 USD/159.55 CAD (Exchange rates as of 8th October, 2026). This isn't even including the 44.95 AUD/31.28/44.62 CAD (Same as previous) required to buy the game itself. Shockingly enough, I feel that this is an absurd asking price for the full experience of any game, no matter how incredible. Discounts are frequent, but small, ranging 10~20% at most, and only the already (relatively) inexpensive DLC get the large discounts.

It is a good game, but these dlc's are a problem. You can buy full games for the price of one of these things ON SALE, And EVERY worthwhile addition to this game seems to be locked behind one. Sure, if you've been with this since day one, it might not seem so bad, but even with every single one on sale, I gotta drop over a hundred bucks to actually get the full game. Can you at least drop a RW2 or anniversary addition with everything before odyssey built in before you add more overpriced dlc's.

I recommend
