Vivaland launched with bold ambitions: a cozy, multiplayer life sim free of microtransactions, with modding support and sandbox freedom. Early previews and devlogs looked promising.

Unfortunately, it now appears the game has been quietly abandoned.

The developers went silent on social media after May 2024, YouTube has seen no activity in over a year, and the official website now redirects to a gambling site. There have been no new builds, no Steam updates, and no news posts since spring 2024.

Forum threads increasingly express concern (or resignation), with many calling the project "dead."

Personal Note:
🇵🇱 Liczyłem na coś na wzór The Sims – ale z większą wolnością i multiplayerem. Skończyło się na niczym. Smutne, bo hype był ogromny. Dziś? Zniknięcie, zero informacji i strona WWW zamieniona w kasyno. Szkoda, że tak to się kończy.
🇬🇧 I was really hoping for a Sims-like experience with more freedom and multiplayer. But now… silence, dead links, and a gambling redirect. That’s not the ending we wanted. What a shame.
