Movement feedback
Generally it's not good and needs a lot of tweaking.

1. The normal movement and sprinting is a bit flat. No, there is no need to add headbob (or at least make it an option), but what could be done is adding weapon movement and sway or even different sprinting animations.

2. Climbing ladders is painful. You can either get stuck to the ladder or vice versa you can't climb it normally. After moving up you also get stuck in the ladder or you can be boosted forward for no reason. Really clunky, unfortunately.

3. Mantling is also not good. I'm pretty sure there is mantling, right? But it's so inconsistent that it's really hard to use it properly and there is hardly any feedback from using it.

4. Jumping is weird. Not sure how to explain it properly, but jumping feels off. It's as if you start jumping normally and then the gravity changes slightly and you drop down faster than usual.

5. Other issues: object pushing, stacking, stucking inside. The overall problem is that despite having a decent number of options of manipulating with items, it's not possible to simply stack 2 boxes on each other and climb somewhere. Not only the the process of placing a box can be tricky, but when you try to climb on more than 1 object, the other ones quickly get pushed around. Jumping and mantling also don't help here.

The next issue is that you can get stuck in debris, ragdolls and so on. Breaking a vent leaves metal pipes that you can get stuck in, so you have to wait until they disappear. The same can be said about enemies, especially spiders.

Extra: UI movement. When using ADS, being spotted by an enemy, or even moving around, the UI moves as well. It's distracting and it would be nice to have an option to stabilize it. I believe there was also a slow-down effect upon seeing an enemy, which I also don't think is a good idea, especially when trying to quickly run away.

I just died twice from the same ladder, and while I'm not an amazing gamer, I'm also not a game journalist.

The ladders were made a little bit better in the full game, but they are still clunky.

Some other things mentioned in the OP were also fixed.
Hey! Ladders, fall damage, and lot of other things are now fixed. Please check out our changelog:

Being able to disable combat music and detection icons above enemies in the options makes the game easier and less oppressive!

The most random reply to ever exist.

If you say so, but I'm fed up with the battle music and the icons above the enemies—it's pointless.

It doesn't make it less random. Make your own thread about your request, there are higher chances that you will get any attention from the devs this way too.

By the way, the ladders still don't feel right and now you made them slower to climb? To what? Extend the suffering? Anyway, I suppose they are a bit more consistent now, but there is still that weird laggy input when you go down or up the ladder, specifically at the end once you stop interacting with it.

They are a bit slower because before it was like if you are sprinting on them. But we also made their colliders much wider, so you cant fall off from them that easily from either sides. Climbing up from them has also been made easier. Just push forward, look up, and you're there. The only way to make it "better" or different would be to rewrite the whole thing from scratch with a completely different scheme. But then you probably wouldn’t be able to look around freely or jump up and down the ladders at any time - it would be much more restricted and rigid. (Almost like a fixed animation.) Some people like those, but this game is all about freedom, so you can basically jump-sprint to the ladders and still use them, or even jump to them (or from them) with the grasshopper mutamod if you want. We choose freedom and complexity instead of a simplified, hand-holdy version. But you know, in the end all is subjective; we’ll never be able to please everyone. We're just doing our best. You are entitled to your opinion, and it is still valid.

Ladders suck, we should have banned them long time ago, in video games too.

Or invent gravity elevators like in Prey or System Shock 2.

Haha, 100% true! We already made a promise to ourselves, if we ever going to made RetroSpace 2, there will be exactly zero ladders in it.
Yeah, there is a reason Arkane had no ladders in Dishonered and Prey. Though they did basically put a ladder 2.0 in Dishonered in the form of chains.
I second the adding of some kind of weapon movement when walking.
