To the developers
It is uncharacteristic of me to create topics to ruminate or glaze games, but it's been quite a long time since I actually enjoyed level design. And believe me it is hard to impress me on that department.

In a world of rogue-likes/lites, where everyone struggles for a dopamine hit every second and procedural generation/UE features (PCG) or even generative AI, it was and is such a joy to look at what Aurora 5 has to offer.

Yes, the game is not without its problems, but the team who made this should be proud on what they've managed to accomplish. If anyone were to ask me whether are games art, Retrospace would be on the list of games I would mention. Thank you for your hard work.

I agree. The layout is very well done. Each environment is interesting and their placement of things like break rooms, locker room, food areas (throughout the ship), the kitchen (Crew Area), the pull down cots in the Cockpit, etc make it feel lived in.

While I had issues in the alt areas with them being too dark even with the flashlight (It's really hard to play during the day when my room is sunny, maybe worth being able to up the gamma a bit more as mine was already maxed out) it made sense and it was cool seeing areas overgrown. Similarly, while I disliked not being able to have a map in the alt ship, it also made sense with how many screens and stuff no longer worked.

Thank you! Your words means a lot to us! We know the game is not perfect, it is simply too ambicious for a tiny team who made it. BUT! We are continue to work on it, update it, and try to reach its full potential. :)

Agreed. So much detail put into this one. Don't see many like it these days.
