Kerbal Space Program

How do you share a save file with people?
I have been working on a few "special missions" and I want to share the save file to people. If someone could give me the basics of doing so, thanks.

You just upload your save file to a file sharing website and have your friend download it.
Emailing it or using a flashdrive to transfer it would work too.

Your save file should be in your KSP folder in the 'saves' folder.

i'm not sure, but look in other file locations and check if your steam files are going to steam icloud.

which one, .loadmeta, .sfs, or both?
Strictly you only need the .sfs file. I think loadmeta just loads the save quicker. If you load the save without loadmeta it will simply create another one after checking versions, compatibility and other 'meta' data. This might cause it to hang a little.
Best practise is to share both.

Be aware you might get shots fired across your bow for necroing this post. ;)
