Game does not start after the Easy Anticheat screen

After a crash on mission 5, the game won't start after the EAA splash screen with an window mentioning UE-live game and the error 01.
I've tried rolling back the drivers to the recommended one, but it did not help. Before this the game worked fine.

I have an i5-11400, rx 6800 xt and 32gb of ram.

5800X3D, 6950XT, 48GB RAM.
Similar pattern, but I never got to play; first launch got stuck on the shader compilation screen with zero activity, every subsequent launch has gotten error 01 on the shader compilation screen.

and i haven't even gotten to the shader compilation once, just error 01 unfortunately

Adding -clearPSODriverCache to my Steam launch options fixed it. Removing it after one successful launch remains fixed, I assume that if my game crashes again in the future I will need to readd it to fix this.

another option is to add the game/eac to your exemption list for your antivirus. happens most of the time with eac games for me.

Tbh, I don't really know since i ended up playing it on Linux where i didn't have any issue and after that the game just ended up fixing itself on Windows
