So you cannot write certain numbers in chat
If you write 69 or even "sixty nine" that's somehow "inappropriate language". They even removed the number decals containing said numbers.

But 67 is somehow fine. What did Bandai Namco mean by this?

67 is a a silly meme. 69 can carry sexual implications.

That is stupid reason. Follow that logic and now somehow people born in 1969 carry sexual implications. Leave numbers alone.

Also you don't know. 67 also carries sexual implications somewhere in the world. It might as well.
I never said it was a great reason, just what I am sure the reason is
Fair enough I suppose.
Can't have a 69 decal, but people are able to post the n-word in multiplayer chat. Wish companies would stop bothering with ineffective text filters. Either implement a functioning system or don't bother.
What about 1989?

Some games block this or more accurately, June 4, 1989.
88 is also censored due to Neo-Nazism. There are many numbers to censor if we go this route.
Chat censorship never works.

What it does produce is mostly two things:
-People will still say what they want to say, except they will get creative. Because what are you gonna do, ban literally every possible word?

-A class of snitches that likes to prod, skirt around the line and bait until they can play tattle-tale and file a report.
You may notice in multiplayer for the emblems 1-99 the following do not exist:
14
24
31
51
64
68
69
88

For one reason or another.
