EA-36 is stupidly OP
The power of IEWS (combined ECM+ESM) on a really powerful air frame kinda makes 95% of other planes obsolete and completely tips the scales in favor of a team that has one with at least a decent pilot.

It dominates coop warfare. You can dance in the middle of an enemy team with IEWS running and they will struggly to deal with even PvE targets, let alone PvP targets. And your airframe will allow you to dodge most of their attacks very easily.

How in the world is this supposed to be balanced against teams flying normal planes without making IEWS useless or extremely limited in the number of uses (thus removing the point of this plane) - I do not know...

I fly that thing 95% of the time.
Try something with LAAMs or TLS and stay out of its IEWS range.
However, ECM itself should be a bit nerfed, yes.
It's way too hard to get a lock on in dogfights.

Co-op warfare has random matchmaking. When both teams bring a bunch of EA-36s and starting fighting (or hunting down those who try to mind their own business), it's basically unplayable due to constant IEWS spam.

Worse still is when you have people in Phantoms, Falcons and Fulcrims on your side matched up time and again against multiple sweats in EA-36s.

It's just broken. The fact that there is a small situational random semi-effective counter to this problem - in the form of overperforming LAAMs, which could use a nerf as well - does not fix the problem for the majority of the playerbase affected by it.
yeah that thing ruins the few matches of coop warfare i have to play cause of daily missions and/or weekly . its just stupid that it can basically shut down the entire enemy team with a huge radius and you cant just fly out because it has a huge radius. and then if you do you get sniped by laam

LAAMs are not the answer, EA-36s just B-line to whoever has them and renders them completely useless. I've yet to see any warfare match that the EA-36 doesn't dart to the MiG-31s with IEWS out the gate and it's usually followed up with TLS from a Morgan. The only real counter to the EA-36 is another EA-36 just to make the situation a draw.

It's less of this plane is OP (well okay it kind of is still), it's just end game aircraft are being matched with beginning to mid tier planes making the grind that much harder for people that didn't only play AC8 since EA/Launch. It's to the point where some of these teams don't even need to PvE and win by a landslide.

To be fair, the Foxhounds and Typhoons deserve it.
